


Hannah Wadey
CEO
Hannah has worked with Safer Business Network since 2015, growing the company into one of the leading crime prevention partnerships in the country. After completing a degree in Criminology, Hannah worked in community safety within local government, tackling issues in some of London’s most diverse and challenging communities in partnership with key stakeholders. It was upon joining the New West End Company in 2013 that she picked up a keen interest in the business community and its importance to the prosperity of London; an interest she continues to advance as CEO of Safer Business Network.

Adam Ratcliffe
Operations Director
Adam joined Safer Business Network at the beginning of 2021 after 10 years as Chief Executive of the partnership in his hometown of Cambridge. Adam served as a Police Officer before stepping into the world of business crime, also undertaking consultancy for local authorities, Police forces and BIDs across the UK on crime prevention and partnerships. A Law school graduate, Adam is also an Associate Lecturer in Criminology, Politics and the Ethics of Policing and a proud Ambassador for the White Ribbon Campaign.

Eren Bessim
Training & Development Manager
Eren joined Safer Business Network in 2023 as Training and Development Manager after starting his career as a Police Officer for Kent and the Metropolitan Police Service, before moving into several Management and Leadership roles within the private sector. Training and Development has been at the core of all his roles, and he brings that passion for mentoring and upskilling to Safer Business Network and our members. Eren has developed a strong reputation for partnership and working to improve safety in London and nationally, delivering on key projects with Licensing, BIDs, BCRPs and Councils including our WAVE and Ask for Angela program.

Andy Wood
NICRP Lead
Andy proudly served for 30 years as a Metropolitan Police Officer before retiring and bringing his experience and expertise to the Safer Business Network team. After managing the partnership covering London’s West End, Andy took on helping to set up and lead the hugely successful National Infrastructure Crime Reduction Partnership (NICRP).

Mark Kameen
NVCRP Lead
Mark spent 31 years with Merseyside Police before retiring in April 2024 as the temporary Assistant Chief Constable. Mark is a career detective and brings his considerable experience of senior strategic leadership, and the management of complex and serious crime, to the Safer Business Network team and the role of Project Lead for the National Vehicle Crime Reduction Partnership.
