BCRP Week Day 3 - Our Busiest Day Yet

Day 3 of BCRP Awareness Week and our busiest day yet!

Another busy and productive day as we continue to celebrate BCRP Awareness Week, highlighting the vital work being done to reduce crime, support businesses, and create safer communities. Here’s a snapshot of todays events:

📍 Whitechapel – Kicked off our first-ever day of action in this brand-new partnership area! A fantastic joint operation with Metropolitan Police, London Borough of Tower Hamlets and local businesses, increasing visibility and engagement - we even had mounted police on patrol, making a real impact in the area.
📍 Waterloo Station – Joint patrols with British Transport Police and Southbank Security for Southbank BID engaging with businesses and sharing crime prevention strategies.
📍 West End – Hosted our annual Westminster Steering Group and a Covent Garden/Seven Dials week of action alongside CIS Security Limited, SABER SECURITY, Met TCT, and Met SNT. During engagement visits, we spotted a prolific OCG, which we alerted on the ShopSafe radio network enabling businesses and security to successfully deter them from the area.
📍 Fulham – Joint patrols with the Metropolitan Police, Fulham Broadway BID and Hammersmith & Fulham Council showcasing the benefits of businesses working together to prevent crime and improve safety.
📍 Islington Archway – Joint patrols with the Metropolitan Police Safer Neighbourhood team, focusing on obtaining statements and intelligence on our top offenders.
📍 Kings Cross – Joint Engagments with Savills to businesses, with a focus on preventative measures for Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG) and promoting upcoming Camden WAVE/Ask for Angela training.
📍 Marylebone Station – Joint patrols with British Transport Police and Baker Street Quarter Partnership, strengthening relationships with local businesses inside the station.
📍 Final day at the Pub Show at ExCeL – Wrapping up a fantastic few days working with Licensing Connect. Our Training & Development Manager, Eren Bessim, spoke at the Safer Pubs, Stronger Communities seminar, emphasizing the importance of creating safe pub environments through effective training.

A huge thank you to all our partners for their continued commitment this week. Stay tuned as we continue highlighting the power of collaboration in tackling business crime!
