Kicking Off Business Crime Reduction Partnership Awareness Week with a Bang! 💥
From today until 23rd March, Safer Business Network is supporting BCRP Awareness Week and shining a light on all the incredible work being done to tackle crime, support businesses, and create safer communities.
BCRPs bring together businesses, police, local authorities, and safety partners to tackle retail crime and protect the night-time economy. This week is about celebrating that collaboration and raising awareness of the difference we can make when working together.
Here’s how we kicked things off today:
📍 Joint patrols with MY LOCAL BOBBY for The Fitzrovia Partnership BID, visiting businesses to sign them up to our secure intel platform, Alert by ShopSafe, so they can start sharing intelligence. We also demonstrated the benefits of being connected, ensuring businesses feel supported and tackling local concerns.
📍 Joint patrols with Harley Street Business Improvement District security team The Welcome People, focusing on business engagement, proactive safety measures, and providing crime prevention materials such as our brand-new Beware Pickpocket window stickers and posters.
📍 Attending the National Pub Show at ExCeL alongside Licensing Connect, showcasing our work and support for the night-time economy.
